Air cooled oil coolers or are known by various names in the industry – Air cooled heat exchangers, hydraulic oil coolers, fan cooled radiators etc, These are primarily of two types, based on their construction viz. D Cup Oil Coolers (Bar and Fin Oil cooler) or Plate and Fin type oil coolers. Typically these have plates or bars & fins. The plates or bars act as heat sinks for the heat from the oil or fluid flowing through the heat exchanger. Cooling fins are attached to plates or bars. This increases the surface area for better cooling effectiveness. The heat is transferred from the oil to the plates. The heat in turn is transferred from the plates to the fins. The heat transferred to the fins is dissipated by the air flow generated by the fan.

AL Series: These are Bar and Fin coolers, also known as ‘D’ Cup coolers – available with AC & DC driven fans.
AW Series & AH Series: These are Plate and Fin type coolers – available in AC, DC & Hydraulic motor driven fans.
AL Series– Hydraulic Oil Cooler Radiator /Air Cooled Heat Exchanger Specifications
• Oil flow handling up to – 1 to 10 LPM.
• Cooling capacity up to –1330 Kcal/h (1.55 kW).
• These hydraulic oil cooler radiator / heat exchangers are best suited for Drain Line cooling of Variable Displacement pumps.
• Application: These small hydraulic oil coolers are mainly used in CNC machines, CNC & VMC Clamping fixtures & other hydraulic power packs with variable displacement pumps
AW Series -Oil Cooler Heat Exchangers / Oil Cooler with Fan Specifications
• Oil flow handling up to – 1 to 20 LPM.
• Cooling capacity up to –1900 Kcal/h (2.2 kW)*.
•Application: These small hydraulic oil coolers with single & double fans are mainly used in small hydraulic power packs (0.5HP/0.37 kW to 5HP / 3.7 kW) & small gear boxes, bearings, small lubrication systems.
AH Series – Air Cooled Oil Cooler / Hydraulic Oil Cooler with Fan Specifications
• Oil flow handling up to – 3 to 400 LPM.
• Cooling capacity up to –107500 Kcal/h (125 kW)*.
•Application: Small to large hydraulic power packs (1 HP/0.75 kW to 400 HP / 300 kW) & small to large gear boxes, bearings, small to large lubrication systems
